Asset search and recovery. Find what was hidden. Get it back.

Practice Area

A judgment is a piece of paper until someone finds the assets behind it.

Integra Intelligence conducts asset searches and recovery investigations for judgment creditors, fraud victims, potential litigants, and their counsel. We locate real property, business interests, vehicles, vessels, intellectual property, financial institutions, payment accounts, intellectual property, mineral rights, and more. We document potential collection avenues so counsel can move to collect.

For heirs and estates, the same skills find missing beneficiaries, unclaimed property and assets a decedent held in other states or under other names.

Services

What we find, and for whom.

Pre-suit collectability

Before you file, know whether the defendant can pay. Property, business interests, liens and prior judgments assessed so counsel can advise on whether the case is worth bringing.

Post-judgment asset location

Real property in every county, corporate and LLC interests, vehicles, vessels and aircraft, intellectual property and receivables, with ownership documented for garnishment, levy or supplemental proceedings.

Fraudulent transfer tracing

Assets moved to spouses, relatives, new entities or trusts after the debt arose, traced through deeds, filings and public transactions to support claims under the Uniform Voidable Transactions Act.

Scam and investment fraud recovery

For victims of investment, cryptocurrency and business scams: identifying the operators, the entities and the accounts, and preparing the record for civil recovery, law enforcement and regulators.

Heir and beneficiary location

Missing heirs, beneficiaries and next of kin located from genealogical, public and archival records, with documentation suitable for probate courts.

Estate asset discovery

Property, accounts, safe-deposit boxes, business interests and unclaimed funds held by a decedent in other states or under other names, for executors, administrators and estate counsel.

Questions

Common questions about asset searches.

For the long version, with statutes and the public-record tools we use, read the asset-recovery guide.

Can you find bank accounts?

Not by pretext, and we will not work with anyone who does. Under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, account information is obtained lawfully through post-judgment discovery, subpoena or a permissible purpose. What we can do is identify the institutions a debtor uses from the public record and prepare counsel to serve the right ones.

What does an asset search cost?

It depends on the number of subjects, jurisdictions and the depth required. A single-subject domestic search is a fixed fee; tracing transfers and entities is quoted hourly with an estimate up front.

How long does it take?

A single-subject search typically takes five to ten business days. Multi-entity tracing and out-of-state record retrieval add time.

I was scammed. Can you get my money back?

We cannot promise recovery, and anyone who does should be treated with suspicion. We can identify who took the money and where it went, and give you and your counsel a documented record to pursue civil recovery and to hand to law enforcement.

Do you work for heirs directly, or only through counsel?

Both. Many heir and estate matters come to us through probate counsel; others come from executors and family members directly.

Owed money, or looking for what was left behind?

Tell us who and roughly how much. We will do a cursory search, tell you what the public record is likely to show, and provide a detailed price quote for the search.
